General null Lagrangians and their novel role in classical dynamics

Abstract A method for constructing general null Lagrangians and their higher harmonics is presented dynamical systems with one degree of freedom. It shown that these can be used to obtain non-standard Lagrangians, which give equations motion the law inertia some dissipative systems. The necessary condition deriving by using presented, it demonstrated this plays same role as Euler–Lagrange equation standard Lagrangians. obtained results applications establish a novel in classical dynamics.
